1975

Mr. Henk van de Craats starts producing mechanically separated chicken meat.

February 1976

Steven van de Craats starts to work at his father's company in Harskamp, The Netherlands.

September 1976

Establishment of Polskamp Meat Industrie.

October 1981

Gerjan van de Craats starts to work at the laboratory of his father's company.

January 1983

Polskamp Meat Industrie acquires a poultry slaughterhouse called N.V. Veluwse Pluimvee Slachterij E.P.S. in Ermelo, The Netherlands.

April 1984

The company starts to use its own transportation.

March 1985

The company starts to produce mechanically separated chicken meat in Ermelo, the Netherlands.

June 1988

Implementation of a new packing line in Ermelo, The Netherlands.

September 1989

Polskamp Meat Industrie purchases additional refrigerated trucks.

April 1994

Polskamp Meat Industrie purchases additional machines in order to increase its production capacity of mechanically separated chicken meat.

June 1995

The factory in Ermelo is expanded in order to be able to cope with the increased demand for mechanically separated chicken meat.

February 1996

Polskamp Meat Industrie further professionalizes its packaging and starts to pack in polyblocks.

November 2003

Additional expansion of its facilities in Ermelo, The Netherlands.

June 2004

Polskamp Meat Industrie adjusts one of its own trucks and makes it capable to use chicken fat as an engine fuel instead of diesel.

August 2005

Polskamp Meat Industrie expands its production capacity and warehouse. The modern semi-automated warehouse has a storage capacity of approx. 5.000 MT of product.

February 2009

Polskamp Meat Industrie changes the design of its fleet of trucks.

June 2016

Enhanced and fully automated freezing & packaging line becomes operational in Ermelo, The Netherlands.

April 2017

Development of a new separator, completely designed and built as per the requirements of Polskamp Meat Industrie.

March 2020

Implementation of 2 new freezing & packaging lines in response to growing international demand for Polskamp products.
